——
Fricks and fracks, addled hats,
Tricks and traps, love-rend lapse.
Simply said, not one to act
Without beating plans, heart cataract.
Fool life once, saccharine hunt.
Fool fools twice, saturnine plunge.
Devolve the deceived, defend from the stunt.
Revolve to the light, take flight from affront.
Actual known, what is but can’t be,
Return to a home that’s within and unseen.
Fly far, not alone, as you wait for the speed
Of fortunate justice, and merciful deeds.
